Although virtually all of Hunter's dialogue was redubbed, it was by Hunter himself, and that is most assuredly his own voice throughout the film. An interesting footnote: Hunter's acting coach for the dialogue was actress Agnes Moorehead, who had played his mother in THE TRUE STORY OF JESSE JAMES.
